Frequently Asked Questions To Our Nurse Prescriber

When undergoing an aesthetic treatment, there's no doubt that you'll have plenty of questions during your initial consultation, your treatment and even afterwards - especially if you're new to the world of anti-wrinkle injectables and dermal fillers. We're proud to have an in-house fully-qualified nurse prescriber whose vast experience we can rely upon to answer every question that you may have.

What brands do you use for your treatments?

We've proudly partnered with premium quality brands to deliver incredible results, whilst upholding excellent safety standards. We use Allergan and Nuceiva as our main brands.

Do you offer skin boosters?

Yes, for specific areas of the face where a targeted treatment is required for a particular problem area like the under eye, we use Vitaran 1ml (Polynucleotides). The cost of this is £100 per 1ml syringe.

How often should I have a skin booster?

When using skin boosters, we recommend a typical loading period, whereby treatment will be 6 weeks apart. This is followed by a maintenance phase of having the procedure every 6 months thereafter.

What brand do you use for your Dermal Fillers?

We typically use Stylage for our Dermal Fillers, however, if a client has a specific request for a particular reason, we will always be as adaptable as possible and use suitable alternatives for them. We have access to multiple other brands, however, this is completely at our discretion and we must be completely confident that it's safe.

Do you offer any other types of treatment?

We are able to offer marionette and nasal lines treatments at a cost of £200 per ml and use a cannula for these types of treatments as it's much safer.

Is it essential that I have to see a prescriber prior to treatment?

Absolutely. In line with new regulations, we have a legal obligation to only offer face-to-face consultations prior to treatment. There is then a 72-hour window prior to treatment, whereby the products will be ordered and linked to your profile on our booking system. In some cases, we can shorten this pre-treatment window and will of course always try our best, however, this is a guide to allow us to work within our means and ensure complete patient safety and comfort.

Do I have to visit again prior to follow up treatments?

If you've previously had a treatment with our prescriber at our clinic, you won't need to visit us again prior to your follow up treatment. We are able to prescribe the same product for you again as previously used, providing there has been no medical change since your last appointment.
